Woodring to demonstrate IPT at Saint Elizabeth's Hospital, Washington, D.C.. 1939 US patent 2,145,869 granted for IPT treatment of syphilis. 1939 Official document recognizing the effectiveness of IPT signed by Alberto P. Agustin Cástro, Mexican Secretary of Defense. 1941 Dr. Perez Garcia 1 set up clinic to successfully test IPT in Mexican military. 1943-44 Dr. Perez Garcia 1 invited to demonstrate IPT in US at Naval Hospital in San Diego. 1944, April 10 Time Magazine article about Dr. Perez Garcia 1 and IPT successes, the first international recognition of the work of a Mexican doctor. 1944 Mexican military loses national election in 1944, ending Dr. Perez Garcia 1's chance to be Mexican Secretary of Health. 1945 First successful treatment of cancer with IPT. 1947 Dr. Perez Garcia 1 demonstrated IPT in the US again in 1947. 1948 Dr. Perez Garcia 1 cured ulcers with antibiotics and IPT, 49 years before treatment with antibiotics became standard practice. 1950 Dr. Perez Garcia 1 presented ulcer results to 9th Cong. of Surgeons in Mexico City. 1953 Dr. Perez Garcia 1 published the first book about IPT, Terapia Celular (Cellular Therapy). 1956 Dr. Perez Garcia y Bellon 2 joined Dr. Perez Garcia 1's medical practice). 1950s Drs. Perez Garcia 1 and 2 reversed paralysis of polio in children with IPT. 1958, March 30 Dr. Perez Garcia 3 born in Mexico City. 1960s Drs. Perez Garcia 1 and 2 developed and researched a simple medical diagnostic method, the Oncodiagnosticator. 1971, December 12 Dr. Perez Garcia 1 died. 1975 SGA MD met Dr. Perez Garcia y Bellon 2, documented his practice, and began to promote Donatian Therapy research in the US. (Later he coined the name "insulin potentiation therapy" (IPT) for the updated version of the therapy.) 1976 Jean-Claude Paquette MD met Dr. Perez Garcia y Bellon 2, and started practicing IPT in Quebec, Canada (and later in Haiti). 1977 First treatment of multiple sclerosis with IPT, by Jean-Claude Paquette MD. 1983 Donato Perez Garcia 3 joined Dr. Perez Garcia y Bellon 2's clinic, in the same office founded by Dr. Perez Garcia 1. 1986 Chris Duffield PhD met SGA MD, starting a long involvement with IPT. 1986 SGA published general article about IPT in Medical Hypotheses. 1987 "Project 87" convened by SGA MD, leading to the founding of SANA Institute, Inc., and Medical Renaissance Foundation, the grant of two IPT patents, and team efforts to promote IPT research and treatment. 1987 Drs. Perez Garcia 2 and 3 successfully treated three patients with HIV/AIDS using IPT. 1988, November Dr. Perez Garcia 3 moved from Mexico City to establish his practice in Tijuana, Baja California, near San Diego, California. 1989 SGA MD published two articles about IPT treatment of HIV/AIDS. 1989 Drs. SGA and Drs. Perez Garcia 2 and 3 presented a poster about low-dose chemotherapy for breast cancer at a fundamental cancer research forum at M.D.Anderson Cancer Center, starting a long chain of actions to promote research on breast cancer treatment with IPT (see chronology of breast cancer efforts). 1990 US patent 4,971,951 granted for IPT treatment of cancer and viral diseases. 1990 Article about IPT low-dose chemotherapy for breast cancer published in European Journal of Cancer. 1992 US patent 5,155,096 granted for IPT treatment of many diseases. 1995 Jean-Claude Paquette MD printed his book about IPT, Médecine de l'Espoir (Medicine of Hope) and then died. 1996 First IPT website, one page, by Dr. Perez Garcia 3. 1997 SGA MD began to treat cancer with IPT, under an IRB-approved protocol. 1999, July 31 IPTQ.com (now also IPTQ.org and IPTQ.net) launched on web. 1999, October 20 Jean-Claude Paquette's book Médecine de l'Espoir made public for the first time, on IPTQ, in original French. 1999, December 19 English translation (by Aimé Ricci) of Medicine of Hope, Jean-Claude Paquette's book, published on IPTQ. 2000, May 8 Submitted IPTQ to all major search engines. 2000, September 18 IPT doctors presented their best cancer cases to NIH Cancer Advisory Panel for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAPCAM) in Bethesda MD. 2000, November 23 (Thanksgiving Day) Donato Perez Garcia y Bellon 2 died in Mexico City. 2000, December, and 2001, January IPTQ.org
