Future Possibilities and Speculations about IPT
by Chris Duffield

"Many of the views which have been advanced are highly speculative, and some no doubt, will prove erroneous; but I have in every case, given the reasons which have led me to one view rather than to another. . . False facts are highly injurious to the progress of science, for they often endure long, but false views; if supported by evidence, do little harm, for everyone takes a salutary pleasure in proving their falseness."    --- Charles Darwin

With the mind of an inventor and engineer, and with access to the archives of IPT history, I cannot help but speculate about the possibilities for using IPT as a tool for new purposes.  Only through the interest, courage, and action of individual researchers, doctors, and patients will we find out whether these possibilities could become realities.  And finding out could take a long time.  Looking at some of the broadest  and most important possible applications of IPT, I came up with these:

Bioterrorism
Infectious Diseases

    Tuberculosis
    Malaria
    Lyme Disease
    Sepsis
Alzheimer's Disease
Central Nervous System Injuries
Eyes
Ears
Poisoning
Anti-Aging
Dental
Appendicitis
Organ Transplants
Developing World Applications
Emergency Medicine
Battlefield Medicine
Expedition & Aerospace Medicine
Sports & Rehabilitation Medicine
